"Mambo Imechemka" Cab Driver and 2 Men Left Stranded After Encounter With 'Mchele Babes' in Nairobi

In Nairobi County and nearby areas, partygoers are being targeted by women who spike their drinks to steal from them in nightclubs. These women, known as 'mchele babes,' have left many people stranded, unconscious, and without their belongings. On Saturday night, three men in Lang'ata fell victim to this scheme.

The men, including a cab driver and two passengers, reportedly met two women at a local entertainment spot. They all drank together and then decided to find a short-term apartment in Nairobi West for the night.

As they drove towards South C, the men didn't realize their drinks were being spiked by the women. The driver also had his drink spiked. When the driver started feeling weak, the women asked him to stop the car in South C.

While the men were 'asleep' in the car, the two women robbed them of all their valuables and fled. Locals found the men in the car, struggling to speak. Some residents condemned the crime and urged others to be careful when going to clubs.

The driver said he saw the women but was too weak to stop them. One of the victims expressed shock at being conned, saying they had lost everything.
