During the Azimio-One Kenya Parliamentary Group meeting at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation in Nairobi County, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, speaking on behalf of the coalition, revealed that Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch and Kitui Senator Enock Wambua would lead the inquiry.
Wandayi expressed concerns that the government was undermining the investigation."We have appointed Anthony Oluoch and Enoch Wambua to lead a joint Parliamentary inquiry from both the Senate and National Assembly into the unfortunate death of Ogolla," Wandayi said.
"We are worried that Ruto has set up a separate investigation team apart from the one established by his Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen."
Murkomen had formed a seven-member aircraft investigation team to examine Kenya-registered or operated aircraft involved in accidents.
On April 19, a military team began investigations in West Pokot, where CDF Ogolla's helicopter crashed, leading to his death the day before.
