Casualties Reported After 3 Cars Collided Along Nairobi-Nyeri Highway

 There was a bad accident in Kibirigwi, Kirinyaga County, Kenya, on Tuesday, April 16th. Several Kenyans got hurt.

Three vehicles crashed into each other, causing serious injuries and a lot of damage. Pictures online show the vehicles smashed up, with broken windows and other important parts wrecked.

The accident involved two regular cars and a big trailer. The early investigation suggests the trailer caused the crash on the busy road.

It's not clear if anyone died or what exactly caused the accident. Some locals say the road in Kibirigwi gets slippery, especially when it rains a lot.

Police and emergency workers came to the scene to help the injured people. This was one of several accidents on Tuesday that led to deaths and serious injuries.

Another accident happened at Zambezi on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway involving a Land Cruiser and a Trinity Bus. One person died in this crash.

The two vehicles hit each other head-on, and the Land Cruiser driver died. His car got thrown to the side of the road, causing more damage.

The report says the Land Cruiser driver was in the wrong lane, which caused the crash. His body was taken to the local morgue, and his car was towed away to clear the road.

These accidents have upset people in Kenya, who are asking drivers to follow the rules and for police to punish those who don't.

The Ministry of Transport is also planning new measures to stop these accidents and punish anyone responsible.
