Kisumu Residents Enjoy Early Madaraka Day After Lorry Carrying Bread Overturns

 Residents along the Kisumu-Ahero road were treated to free bread after a lorry transporting the commodity overturned.

The unfortunate incident that saw a Festive Bread lorry overturn by the roadside at Korowe left the locals carting away with crates of bread. In an amateur video recorded at the scene, the locals milled around the scene after the vehicle overturned before they started to plunder.

It is not clear where the loaves were destined, but the certainty is that most locals had a fill on the fateful day as everybody could be seen carrying a mattress.

Some individuals sought help from fellow youths in carrying the crates as they rushed back to carry more. A hilarious moment was also captured during the looting when the publisher of the video recognised one of the looters.
